Hello To Any and All

I am flying a bit blind. I have not moderated a forum since I started one in the 90s on Ecunet. We had a good run. THis is an effort to point to the thinking of C. S. Peirce and others who are really the prophets of the era that is now unfolding. For me these include a whole raft of thinkers who are enlivening discussions around the world, linking things, connecting the metaphysical and the physical, and so forth. I also find almost any past philosopher of interest simply because there is never any way to pigeon hole any of us. We are souls in transit. Those who do not believe that are more than welcome because they may be correct in their analysis. In short no one is excluded. I would welcome some co-moderators as I am too old to do this and too impatient to learn all the new ropes that may be involved. This was the simplest format I could find. It is in France which pleases me. Other than that, welcome and feel free.

Thank you so much for doing this. Please - send the site to as many people as you can, so that we can discuss Peirce as a real analytic force in examining and understanding the real world.

Feel free to post anything you like and help promote. I will do my best as time unfolds. You should be able to create any topic you like and raise any questions you wish. OK- but I repeat - it IS relevant for the Peirceans who are on the Peirce list; many would like to discuss issues more relevant to the role of Peircean analysis in the real world. The fact that the Peirce list has been taken over by posters isolated to rhetoric in the seminar room does not mean that others on that list agree with such an isolation.

I would like to introduce the topic of the thermodynamic nature of the Peircean triad - by which I mean - how such an analytic framework enables complex cognitive and biological interactions. I'm not quite sure how to do this on this site.

Here's what you do. Create a topic or category (sale thing) It needs to be several words long. Then enter your content and everyone who belongs will get a notification.   Thermodynamic nature of the Peircean triad is fine. If you think it is worth the risk I would let the List know when you have started the topic.
